Nicholas Bredimus
Nicholas Bredimus is president of Bredimus Systems, Inc., a firm serving the international travel industry with emphasis on global distribution. A key player in the airline industry's changing roles for travel agents, Bredimus explained to Flight's Global newsletter that "agents had become a controllable cost rather than a necessity [by the 1990s]".
Bredimus' career included starting the first electronic ticketing network, QuikTix. Mr. Bredimus was a personal computer pioneer who helped introduce interactive travel services for PC users on Prodigy and Expedia travel service. He served as founding president American Airlines sister company AMR Travel Services.
